In their Eyes: A Sweet End to the Fall Season

My tiny clients had thoughts of their own on what paths to wander and some artistic recommendations on shots that I was happy to oblige. I never doubt children see so much more magic than we take the time to look for. In general, I try to follow them more than they follow me and see what they see through their eyes. They were playful and silly and so relaxed and fun - the perfect high note to end the season on.

Years of Friendship + a 1 Year Celebration

Oh how special this session was. My mother grew up with such a wonderful group of childhood friends, each more stunning and hilarious than the next. Over the years, I have been fortunate enough to have them love me like family and make me laugh like no other. My godmother, Eileen, used to love taking photos of me and her gorgeous little girls…the oldest of which is captured here with her beautiful family and adorable little man.

Summer 2020 you were weird, but you were also kind of wonderful. There’s something about the beach that almost of makes you forget everything else. The enormity of it. The energy it has. Something so unscripted about beach sessions. I love how kids just hit the sand and start running free. Collecting shells. Authentic wonder. Squeals at the waves getting everyone wet.
